How a tow works
From your call to drop-off, here is what happens.
- You call dispatchCall (647) 863-6271, any hour. Tell us where you are, your vehicle, what happened and where it should go. You get the price and an arrival estimate before anything is booked.
- The closest truck is sentWe send the nearest available truck and the right type for your vehicle: wheel-lift, flatbed, heavy-duty or low-clearance. The driver can call you on the way.
- Price confirmed, then hook-upThe driver confirms the price and destination, gets your consent, and secures your vehicle with wheel straps or dollies.
- Drop-off and invoiceYour vehicle goes to your mechanic, dealer, body shop or home. You get an itemized invoice you can give to your insurer.

Our story
From one driver to 183 trucks
Angar started in 2016 as a tow truck driver. Three months later he bought his own truck and started Angar Towing. The first year was hard. Then came the first contract, with DAA, and three more within six months.
Today the fleet is 183 trucks: flatbeds, wheel-lifts, heavy wreckers and low-clearance units for underground garages. Customers still mention Angar by name in their reviews.

How much does a tow cost in Toronto?

How fast can a truck get to me?
The dispatcher gives you an arrival estimate when you call. Customers often tell us we arrived in 20 to 30 minutes in Toronto.
Where are you located?
Our main office is at 626 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5T 1H7, and our yard is at 3254 Danforth Ave, Scarborough, ON M1L 1C2. Trucks cover all of Ontario.
Can I choose where my car is towed?
Yes. You decide where the vehicle goes, unless police direct the tow.
Do you tow electric vehicles?
Yes, always on a flatbed so no wheels turn on the road. If a Tesla or other EV won't go into neutral, we use specialized dollies.
Can you get my car out of an underground garage?
Yes. We bring low-clearance equipment that fits under condo, office and public garage ceilings. Tell us the parking level and the clearance posted at the entrance.
Will my insurance pay for the tow?
Many insurance policies and roadside plans reimburse towing. We give you an itemized invoice to submit. Check your policy for the details.
Is Angar Towing licensed?
Yes. Our Ontario tow operator certificate is TO-219-422-701, printed on every truck, and every truck carries $2.5 million in liability coverage.
